Welcome to all!  You will receive this newsletter every week on Monday.  It includes important school information and updates. It also highlights upcoming school events. Committees are invited to include their information as needed – and individuals can post in the “classified” section. We hope that this newsletter serves a valuable purpose at CNS – to keep us all in touch with the various events while cutting down on multiple email announcements during the week. Submissions are due by Friday at 8pm to:

4th Annual HOMECOMING CONCERT with Ben Rudnick & Friends at CNS

Saturday, September 16, 3pm-6pm

Rock in the new school year with Ben Rudnick & Friends! Bring your family and friends down to Community Nursery School to celebrate our vibrant school community with music, dancing and more! This is a super fun event. The concert is right next to the playground at CNS and the kids can run and play while you hang out and chat and listen to the music.  You can order a pizza in advance or bring your own food and have an early picnic dinner.

Doors Open at 2:45 pm
Concert will start at 3:00pm
$10 per person/$30 per family max

Large cheese or pepperoni pizza may be pre-ordered through Eventbrite – pick up at CNS when you check in for the concert. Additional food for purchase will be available. BYOB for parents. In an effort to reduce our carbon footprint, we will have water coolers for your refillable water bottles.

Ben Rudnick & Friends play the hippest family music around. With countless awards to their credit, including SEVEN Parent’s Choice awards, their adventurous, high-energy blend of happy, upbeat acoustic music is guaranteed to entertain the entire family. Blending musical styles from country to bluegrass, rock to second-line New Orleans, their original songs and fun takes on familiar tunes make you sing, make you dance and make you happy. Join the fun! Visit for more information.

Concert is open to all members of the community. (The more who attend, the more CNS and our children will benefit, so please share widely!)

Please RSVP so we can plan according.

Please support TEAM CNS in the PMC Kids Challenge on Sun, September 17th

Please support our team’s PMC Kids Ride! We are riding in a PMC Kids Ride, which benefits Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, because we want everyone who is battling cancer to have the best care possible.

We are riding our bikes to provide resources to the doctors and nurses at Dana-Farber and to make a difference in the fight against cancer. When you support our PMC Kids Ride, 100% of your donation will go directly to support Dana-Farber’s tireless commitment to finding a cure!

Thank you for donating here:

Anyone can shop – Please feel free to share this information with family and friends!

Supporting CNS is easy through our partnership with Whenever you shop using our affiliate link, Amazon will contribute 4 to 10% of sales to CNS at no additional cost to you. The more items purchased through these links, the greater the percentage the CNS receives on each sale.

Step 1 – Shop Amazon’s wide selection by accessing it through this shortcut: or visit: and click on the SchoolRewards image. (If you do not see the image, check if your browser has ad blockers enabled and disable it.)

Step 2 – Bookmark it!

Step 3 – Shop often

Step 4 – Share it with your family and friends

Nothing comes without fine print. Here are the important details for you to know:

● Order matters: You need to link, shop, and check out, in that order. If you don’t click on our link first, but go to Amazon in your usual way, put things in your cart, and then remember to click on the link and check out – your sale will not earn us funds. You have to click our link before you put anything in your cart.

● The clock matters: If you use the link, put something in your cart within 24 hours, but don’t want to buy it right away, that is fine – the purchase will still earn us funds if you finalize it within 90 days: just remember to link before you checkout.

● One purchase session per link session: Arriving at Amazon through our link is good for 24 hours or until you actually place your order – after that, you need to link again. So if you link, complete a purchase, and then need to make another purchase, you have to link again in order for the purchase to earn us funds.

● You won’t see anything that identifies you as a CNS shopper. Don’t worry – as long as you used the CNS link and follow the order and clock guidelines, your purchase will count.

Thank you for your support! Please note that Amazon is not directly supporting CNS. They are simply giving us a referral fee for sending customers their way via our website.

If you want us to check on any items to make sure they are ending up on our earnings, we have that ability to see the full earnings report, however it does not link buyers to items, so your privacy is secure.
