YBF raffle & auction items

Spring is in the air and the Yellow Balloon Fair is just around the corner! The 45th annual Yellow Balloon Fair, a day of games, activities, food, and fun, will be held at CNS on Saturday, May 13 from 10am to 2pm. It’s an exciting day for current CNS families, alumni, and non-CNS families from Lexington and beyond. The YBF committee is looking to the CNS community for contributions of items or experiences to be auctioned or raffled at the fair. Do you cook? Donate a home-cooked gourmet meal! Love to knit? Give a baby blanket! Have extra sports tickets or a vacation home… these items get top dollar!

Would your workplace be interested in sponsoring the fair or donating an experience or item? Does your family have a relationship to a business or organization that might want to sponsor the fair or donate something to auction or raffle? It all helps!!

All proceeds from the YBF benefit CNS. Thank you in advance for your enthusiasm and generosity, and see you at the Fair! YBF Raffle and Auction Committee Co-Chair: Julie Fuhrer (

Our amazing caregiver who watches my 2 year old every morning is looking for a family to nanny for over the summer. This is her ad and contact info. I’d be happy to talk to anyone more about our great experience with her.

Hi Parents!

Are you or someone you know looking for child care this summer?  I am a former early childhood educator currently working as a full time nanny.  I am also a mom to a just turned two year old boy!   I graduated from Wheelock College with a Master’s Degree in infant and toddler development.  Prior to being a nanny I taught children ages 0-5 years old for 18 years in Reggio inspired daycares and preschool programs in the area.

I’m currently a nanny for a child whose mom is a teacher and doesn’t need care during the summer.   I will be available mornings anytime from 8am to 1pm starting June 19th through August 18th.  I am hoping to find a family who doesn’t mind me bringing my son along.

I have an excellent resume and references as well as reliable transportation and a clean driving record.

If you or anyone you know is looking for child care this summer send me a message. I’d love to hear from you!
